CDM 2015 Services
The Construction (Design and Management) regulations were updated in April 2015, whether you have been appointed as Client, Principal Designer, Designer, Principal Contractor or Contractor, SHEQ Services Ltd can assist your organisation in complying with the regulations by offering the following services:
Complete CDM Site Support Service
Our complete support package includes developing / reviewing Pre-Construction information, Construction Phase Health and Safety Plan, project health and safety management system, site induction presentations and recording system, regular site audits and inspections covering health & safety and environmental aspects, contractor competency assessments and more.
Be-spoke packages can be developed per project or per organisation.
- Identification of existing ‘relevant’ information in the Client’s possession
- Identification of additional information requirements in proportion with the health & safety and environmental risks of the project
- Compilation of a pre-construction information pack for issue to tendering contractors and designers
- The option for updates to the document as the project progresses.
Construction Phase Health and Safety Plan
Our Consultants will liaise with the Client / Principal Designer and compile a site specific Construction Phase Health and Safety Plan, we can also provide update visits to review and amend the plan as the project progresses.
Contractor Health and Safety Assessments
Assessment of contractor capability as part of a Client’s approved supplier health and safety checks using our SHEQ Approved Pre-Qualifying Questionnaire (PQQ) online system. We will review the contractor’s submission and provide a full report to both the client and contractor.
Contractors will also obtain a SHEQ Approved certificate, valid for 12 months (renewal required to remain certified), clients and contractors will also benefit from having 24/7 access to the SHEQ Approved members area.
We also offer clients the use of our SHEQ Approved Plus scheme whereby contractors undergo a 2-day audit following completion of their initial PQQ.
CDM 2015 Site Audits
A full review of the Principal Contractors/Contractors site set up arrangements, welfare, Construction Phase Health and Safety Plan, site logistics, competency and training, operational controls and their implementation.
Following the audit, a comprehensive report will be written and presented to both the client and Principal Contractor/Contractors with identified areas of good practice and areas for improvement.
Audits can be schedule throughout the duration of the project or adhoc.
