This course is designed for Construction managers, project managers, site managers and supervisors as well as proprietors of small to medium sized companies. Duration: 5 days
There are no formal entry requirements, however, delegates should hold, or be about to hold, the role of a site manager or equivilent. Previous health and safety knowledge is recommended. Those without previous health and safety management experience are recommended to sit the two-day SSSTS course.
Delegates must be competent in written and spoken English necessary for operating efficiently at site management level.

This is a highly interactive course delivered by means of case studies, classroom discussion, group work and individual/group presentations. In addition you will be required to undertake some self-study outside of the course. You will be continuously assessed and required to successfully complete a multiple-choice test.
Upon successfully completing the course you will be awarded a CITB Site Safety Plus certificate. This qualification must be renewed every five years by attending the SMSTS Refresher course.
