Course overview:
The IOSH Safety, Health and Environment for Construction Site Managers will meet the needs of your business within a timescale to suit you. Delivered over five days, this flexible course will demonstrate how a focus on effective safety and health management will improve efficiency and the wellbeing of your staff.
They’ll learn how to manage every aspect of the site, but not with the aim of becoming specialist environmental or safety and health professionals themselves. Instead they will be taught the techniques to ensure that all requirements are correctly implemented.
As an example, we do not intend to teach you how to write a COSHH assessment, but we will make sure you can understand it and implement it effectively. We understand your role and the crucial information you need to do your job effectively.

Module 1: Understanding the background
Module 2: Preparing for work
Module 3: Setting up the site
Module 4: Construction phase health and safety
Assessment and examination:
Assessments are designed to evaluate delegates' understanding of basic health and safety. Assessments include a multi-format question paper, plus a practical risk assessment project.
Qualifications / certification:
Successful delegates are awarded an IOSH Safety, Health and Environment for Construction Site Managers certificate.
